DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
The Company maintains a strict “ZERO TOLERANCE” on drug and alcohol use. Illicit drug use and alcohol abuse is strictly prohibited and is cause for immediate dismissal. Also prohibited is the abuse of either prescription or non-prescription drugs which in their overuse may cause personal harm or result in diminished awareness or capacity to function safely or coherently. Consumption of any kind of alcoholic beverages (including beer) and drugs during the Inspectors stay on board (during inspection or otherwise) or within 4 hours prior Inspection is strictly prohibited. The amount of BAC during Inspectors stay on board is established as 0%. Inspector is not allowed to bring alcohol or drugs on board ships.
If required, the Inspector can be screened for alcohol and drug abuse during medical check-ups during vessel inspection to ensure no breach in policy.
